Hank Hartmann, CPYB

Born and raised on the Jersey shore, Hank has boated his whole life. After graduating college, he moved to Florida where he built custom boats with a talented group of people. In 1975 he sold his first boat, which launched a career that has led him to being one of the most respected yacht brokers in the Northeast and co-owner of Sandy Hook Yacht Sales.

Brian has been a new boat salesman and yacht broker with Sandy Hook Yacht Sales for over 18 years. “With my experience I have learned that by being truthful and delivering on my promises I gain the respect and confidence of my customers. Working for Sandy Hook Yacht Sales I have the opportunity to interact with new people every day, as well as assisting my previous customers with their boating needs.”

Kevin McGettigan, CPYB

Kevin has been Sandy Hook Yacht Sales’ Ocean County representative since 1995, having relocated from Maryland where he sailed and lived aboard his Sabre 34 out of Annapolis. Kevin is the first yacht broker in New Jersey to earn the prestigious “Certified Professional Yacht Broker” designation from the Yacht Brokers Association of America, and proudly serves that organization on its Board of Directors and its membership committee. Prior to yacht brokerage, Kevin consulted and provided expert testimony on matters of economics and finance. In addition to his love of the water and sailing, Kevin and his wife love to travel with friends and family, experience other cultures, drink marvelous wines and partake of fabulous food!

Raised at the New Jersey shore, Kirk started working as a mate on charter boats in Belmar as a teenager. A licensed captain since 1979, Kirk holds a 100 Ton N/C Masters License. From 1978 to 1993 he worked as a captain running privately owned sport fishing boats in New Jersey and Florida. In 1993 he moved on to captain commuter ferries in New York harbor.
